We are delighted that Jean-Charles Cazes, owner of Château Lynch-Bages will be joining O’Briens Wine Director, Lynne Coyle Master of Wine for an evening of great conversation and some very special wines.

The original Irish Wine Geese were the men and women who fled Ireland for the continent in the 17th and 18th centuries, going on to establish some of the best-known wineries in Bordeaux. Since then, further generations of Irish émigrés have put down wine roots all over the world to become the modern Irish Wine Geese.

Château Lynch-Bages is one of the most iconic estates in Bordeaux, with a winemaking history dating back to the 17th century. It gets its name from Thomas Lynch, whose father emigrated from Galway in 1691 and today, the estate is owned by the Cazes family.

To secure your spot, simply purchase this wine tasting case and join us on Thursday 27th March 2025 at 7pm. On the Monday before the event, 24th March 2025 we will send you a Zoom link to the tasting. If you cannot make it on the night, don’t worry as we will send you a link to the video and you can watch and join along at your leisure.
