Previously known as Crested 10, this is Jameson’s oldest distillery bottled brand and is a tribute to the first drops bottled at The Bow Street Distillery in 1963. (Prior to that, Jameson didn’t bottle its own whiskey). Matured in American bourbon barrels and Spanish sherry butts, it’s a full bodied whiskey with delicate sherry undertones and toasted wood and with fruit, spice and chocolate notes.Tasting Note
On the nose there is an enormous pot still presence softened by a hint of sherry and a sprinkling of ginger. To taste it's the perfect balance of sherry, malt and oak with a pot still backbone. Warming spiciness. Finishes with hints of cocoa and a lingering spice.Product Reviews
