Gábia Vinho Verde is made by the family-owned Casa Ermelinda Freitas winery in the northern Portuguese wine region of Vinho Verde. The name means green wine, but translates as young wine. The vineyards are influenced by the nearby Atlantic ocean, with cooling breezes moderating the summer temperatures.Gábia Vinho Verde has notes of juicy honeydew melon and citrus with a hint of refreshing spritz on the palate, the lower alcohol makes this an especially refreshing and food friendly white.
