Description
This Languedoc estate has been in the hands of the Miquel family since 1791. Today it is run by Laurent Miquel and his Irish wife, Neasa, making a range of sustainably farmed wines representing the best the Languedoc has to offer. Connemara’ Saint-Chinian celebrates the wild beauty of two regions – Saint-Chinian in the South of France, and Connemara in the West of Ireland and an ode to Neasa’s Irish roots.
Tasting Note
A Syrah led blend, Connemara’ Saint-Chinian has an intense nose characterized by notes of blackcurrant and spices expressing the nature of the garrigue, the palate is rich with a ripe fruit character, elegant and complex with silky tannins with aroma
