Corbières enjoyes a Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers, mild winters, and little rain. The wind is a defining feature with the Tramontana arriving from the North and the Marin from the South. This helps the vines to stay healthy and allows for sustainable farming of Syrah, Viognier and Albariño .
Working alongside his Irish wife Neasa, Laurent Miquel does not believe in excessive intervention in the vineyard or cellar. For him, wine is above all a matter of vines and terroir, low yields, hard work throughout the year in the vineyard and respect of the land are essential for success.
