The climate here is influenced by the Atlantic Ocean and the close proximity of the Pyrenees mountain range. Hot summers with cool nights allow perfect growing conditions for the Domaines aromatic Colombard and Ugni-Blanc grapes.

The estate is surrounded by limestone quarries and they are proud of this unique local terroir. Father and son Michel and Nicolas Duffour follow a sustainable farming program in the vineyards and are dedicated to respecting their vineyard terroir. Important also for them is highlighting the typical aroma and flavour of the local grapes through modern winemaking.
