Jane and Simon Waghorn
Simon Waghorn – Astrolabe Wines
Astrolabe is a renowned family winery located in Marlborough, New Zealand. Owners Simon and Jane Waghorn, who work alongside their daughters Libby and Arabella, head up this fantastic enterprise and have recently built a new winery. Astrolabe is best known for its stand-out Sauvignon Blancs and winemaker Simon crafts his complex and characterful wines from a blend of over 20 vineyards.

If you’re a fan of Portuguese wines, chances are you’ve heard of João Portugal Ramos. He is one of Portugal’s best and most innovative winemakers and he and his family business really put the Alentejo region on the wine map in recent years. The Ramos estates focus on native Portuguese grapes such as Touriga Nacional and João Portugal Ramos remains personally involved in the winemaking.

Georg Lingenfelder
Georg Lingenfelder - Weingut Lingenfelder
The Lingenfelders have grown grapes in the Pfalz region of southwest Germany for 500 years and are frontrunners in modern German winemaking. Georg Lingenfelder is the 14th generation of his family to create wines on the Lingenfelder estate. The family crafts delicious, natural wines through a careful, minimalist approach to winemaking and champions traditional aromatic German grape varieties.

Nongcebo Langa
Nongcebo Langa - Delheim Wines
A star of South Africa’s wine scene, Nongcebo Langa is winemaker at the renowned Delheim Estate. The family-run estate in Stellenbosch focuses on sustainability and is heavily involved in numerous social and ecological initiatives. The winery has won a host of awards for it winemaking and Nongcebo is no stranger to accolades herself – she was crowned Diners Club Young Winemaker of the Year in 2023.
